LOCATION: The village of Izvor is situated in Southeastern Bulgaria and it is part of Sozopol Municipality, Bourgas District. The pretty village of Izvor is within 13 km of the seaside and in the immediate vicinity of the Nature Reserve of Dabrava. Dabrava is also the name of the river which flows through the village and runs into Lake Mandra. The unspoilt forests of Mount Strandzha are around 2 km away from Izvor where successful rural tourism has been developed in recent years.
