LOCATION: The village of Kamenar is situated in the southeastern Bulgaria and is a part of Pomorie Municipality, Bourgas District. Pomorie, formerly known as Anhialo, is a town and seaside resort, located on a narrow rocky peninsula in Bourgas Bay. The town was founded in the 4th century BC alongside a saline lake, called sacred by the ancient Thracians due to its curative properties. Nowadays, there is a modern sanatorium where you can treat your chronic diseases all the year round by means of healing, firth mud, obtained from the lake.
