LOCATION The geographical situation of Bata. The village of Bata is located in the slopes of Eastern Stara Planina mountain. It is located 20 km northwest of the Black Sea the historic city of Aheloy is 20 miles away. On the west of it there is a resort Sunny beach, 23 miles northwest of Pomorie and Spa sanatorium, 35 km northward of Burgas, 26 km from the international airport of Sarafovo and 22 km eastward of the town of Aytos. The road, which passes through Bata, leads to Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo and other major cities.
In the village there are cafes, restaurant, medical centre, post office, police, and the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1909.
5 km from the village there are two large dam-lakes. "The downpour" weir and the weir."Aheloy" are appropriate place for those who love fishing.
The proximity of the village to the sea and the mountains makes it a preferred place for walking and recreation.
