LOCATION: The village of Pchelin is located in South-East Bulgaria and it is part of Soungourlare Municipality, Bourgas District. The town of Soungourlare lies in the beautiful valley of the same name. The relief is mountainous, hilly and plain. The river Mochuritsa and the Luda Kamchiya river flow past Soungourlare. An artificial lake, built on the river Luda Kamchiya, is within 18 km of the town and offers fishing opportunities. In the surrounding area of Soungourlare an Iron Age settlement, Thracian burial mounds, ceramics and coins from Roman times have been discovered. Nowadays, their house, a restored Revival one, is a Vine and Wine Museum and there are exhibits, dating back to the nineteenth century and illustrating the traditional occupation of the local people.
