LOCATION: The village of Iskra is located in Southeast Bulgaria and it is part of Karnobat Municipality, Bourgas District. The main road Sofia-Bourgas runs through Karnobat. The town is a railway junction, which connects South to North Bulgaria. The relief is mostly plain furrowed by the Mochuritsa and the Rusokastrenska Valleys. There is a History Museum with a Natural History Section in Karnobat. The Clock Tower, the Black Mosque and the Turkish Bath are some of the architectural sights in the town.
